Green With Grey (GWG) explores possibilities for desealing the industrial platforms of Flanders in order to give more room for water and hence enhance a more sustainable water management of the region. Industrial platforms are located near primary or secondary watercourses, industrial platforms are thus at the intersection between mobility and ecological networks. The ecological analysis of the GWG research examined the spatial configuration of the green and blue networks through analysis at the regional scale and sub-catchment level, in order to understand the relationship between the industrial platforms of Flanders and the sub-catchments.
