Based on the river axis and an existing infrastructure in the city, a tropical climate, and a labor force willing to reduce their living costs, this research by design project seeks to reconnect the city and improve the living conditions of its citizens through the insertion of an urban agriculture system. The Fleuve Vert project explores the creation of agricultural parks along the Guaire River that combine a commercial, recreational, and educational program supported by peri-urban food production for Caracas.
